Map of travel times
Some years ago, MySociety and Stamen produced a series of interactive maps to display travel times between different areas of London. More recently MySociety produced new visualizations to compare travel times for different modes of transport – or public transport vs cycling vs driving. Here is a map of Edinburgh showing areas in which taking public transportation is quicker than driving:
