6 months of mobile phone data
“What information does your phone provider keep on record? German Green Party member Malte Spitz took his provider, Deutsche Telekom, to court to find out. Deutsche Telekom granted Spitz with that six months of information in a 35,000-item document detailing his every movement, call, text and online connection, basically a record of his whereabouts every seven minutes. To prove a point, Spitz turned his six months of personal data over to news organization Zeit Online who organized an animated interactive infographic tracing his every move“.
